MIS Systems Technician

SUMMARY 
MIS Technician will provide help desk support; technical assistance to users; install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain computer hardware, software and data communications equipment and perform other related duties as assigned. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 include the following. 

  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience performing work in a networked environment providing basic technical user support for computer software and hardware. 
  • Highly motivated individual(s) with good interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to meet physical demands of job. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations and troubleshooting of computer software, hardware and other equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices.

 

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and communicate calmly and effectively.
