Quality Assurance Data Analyst 2

The Quality Data Analyst  2 analyzes  ICON’s quality by providing various reports and graphs that examine past quality issues and performances.  This person supervises the work of other Data Analysts within the QA organization.  To assist other employees in use of MS office products, as well as assisting with data entry and checking as needed.  Provide trend analysis for product improvement.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 include the following. 

  • Responsible for quality assurance data:  including V Share data from electronic vendors, line fallout from finished good factories,  CS data for electronic components, returns data.
  • Responsible for data validation and data mining.
  • Automate and schedule reporting as requested. 
  • Audit data entry into PDM for factories that do their own audits.  
  • Manages the weekly/monthly Quality dashboards.
  • Report creation in Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Manage Bar Code scanning project.
  • Support of Control Plan creation and implementation.
  • Ability to create complex SQL queries and manage stored procedures.    
  • Learn  ICON databases with structure and reporting tools.
  • Ability to consult with third party vendors and manage the associated projects. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of job. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
Other Data Analysts within the QA Organization 
QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL.  
  • Understanding of proper table structure and table relationships.  
  • Visual Studio experience preferred.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, outside vendors and other employees within ICON.   

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
Bachelor’s Degree, with a background in statistics, computer science and/or numerical analysis.  Training or an equivalent combination of experience and education would be considered.
