As a Principal Designer, you will be asked to work cross-brand to execute new and original statement level products that drive a category aesthetic that aligns with the overall brand creative direction. You will have an integral role in helping to set category design vision. You will be responsible for applying your strong design, material, innovative thinking, and technical experience to running footwear. In this role, you will be required to put concept and trend and culture to improve product performance and appearance.
In addition to being a strong design influencer this person, more importantly, will need to be a strong collaborator. You will work closely with the (design, development, sourcing, and product management). As an integral member of the team, you will research project needs, generate multiple concept solutions and communicate your ideas through sketches and renderings. Ability to carry a large workload, meet key deadlines and leads by example and is an anchor designer for the category. Stay on top of industry trends you will be required. Other duties may be assigned.
Travel requirements, you will actively participate in creative vision during off-sites and other design events, Asia development trips to represent the category and complete multiple projects.
