Understand regional / Global strategies and provide work direction to the Global Supply Chain planners & schedulers. Diagnose service level failures and understand corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Determine inventory policy throughout the supply chain process, review replenishment targets, and sustain an effective planning inventory model, globally, for given product groups. Monitor and influence production order release and manufacturing execution. Work with people and processes to form a strong link into the S&OP process.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors’ degree in relevant field or two plus years of planning or purchasing experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to regularly write and speak effectively with vendors and other members of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Computations of rates, ratios and percentages.
Application of common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems with concrete variables in a standard setting.
